Yoshimi is totally not really this girl’s name. Her real name is so incredible, so godlike, if she were to reveal it, it would crush the earth in the blink of an eye. It is, however, a nickname given to me by an acquaintence whose sole purpose in calling me this was that they didn’t know anyone named Yoshimi at the time. It’s derived from the 2002 album Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by the Flaming Lips.
