The Future Prospects of Ongaku Gatas

Seeing as Ongaku Gatas’s resident “it” girl, Mano Erina, has been graduated out of the group to become a soloist, they’re short one member. Mano herself was plucked from the reserves list, along with Noto Arisa, Sengoku Minami, and Sawada Yuri. So I took to this very list to try and discover who they might or might not add to Ongatas to replace their “it” girl.

Hip-Hop Pop With No Rap: Morning Musume Fails Me

There is a radio preview of Morning Musume’s upcoming single, “Resonant Blue”, which was played on Tanaka Reina’s joint radio show FIVE STARS. I downloaded and listened to this radio preview, which is basically the whole A-side, except Reina can’t stop talking during the final half of the song.

I hate it.

When [the girls] said it sounded like “Egao YES Nude”, and when Tsunku talked about how SUPA KAKKOII it is, I was praying for a disco-themed song a la “LOVE Machine” or “Renai Revolution 21″. “Egao” had a bit of a disco flavor, it’s one of the best songs Momusu’s had in a while, even though it didn’t sell as much or have a status like the current fan-favorite “Kanashimi Twilight”. With great trepidation, I right-clicked on it and sent it to my iTunes. I had my volume up, I was so expectant of something good that I would love for months to come…
